Who we are.
Inspired by Zambian football icon Racheal Kundananji, one of Africa’s most celebrated athletes and a global trailblazer in women’s football, the Racheal Kundananji Legacy Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating opportunities for underprivileged girls and young women through sport. Drawing on Racheal’s journey from humble beginnings to the world stage, the Foundation empowers the next generation with access to sports, education, mentorship, and life-changing opportunities that help them realise their full potential.
Rooted in the belief that sport is a powerful vehicle for transformation, the Foundation works to create safe and inclusive environments where talent can grow. Through structured programs, mentorship, and access to education, we support young athletes to develop both on and off the field.
Our work goes beyond sport. We are dedicated to building confidence, promoting gender equality, education empowerment, community development and social justice, thereby creating pathways that enable girls to realise their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
How do we utilize your donations?
Every contribution to the Foundation directly supports programs that empower young girls through sport, education, and mentorship.
Your support helps provide access to structured programs that facilitate football training, coaching, and safe playing environments, while also enabling mentorship programs that build confidence, leadership, and life skills.
